Competition for Osorno Municipal Stadium

Abstract

The project proposes an open stadium that merges with the Olympic Village that already existed in the city of Osorno. By creating a base that works as an observation deck towards the city and holding different uses it will allow the structure to function all year round. Unlike other projects like the Allianz Arena where the stadium becomes an advertising iconographic object by itself, the Osorno Municipal Stadium is defined by its integration to the landscape, the walking paths, the views it offers to the city.
